YOU ARE INVITED to enjoy Hollywood while staying at our whimsical, world famous 1912 Bed & Breakfast located right on Hollywood Boulevard and conveniently within walking distance of the Sunset Strip and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, TCL’s Chinese Theater, Dolby Theatre (site of the Academy Awards) and Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and other attractions, as well as the Metro subway to Universal Studios and downtown Los Angeles. Also, there are many, many wonderful and creative restaurants nearby for a world class dining experience and we have a large selection of their menus for your perusal. Plenty of nightlife to walk to and you might see a star or two at the Chateau Marmont nearby. An evening stroll takes you to the Guitar Center home store, Sam Ash Music, and other professional instrument stores.
The proprietors, Nina (who speaks German, French and some Spanish) and William are very well acquainted with Hollywood and Southern California and will be happy to assist in making your visit to the Entertainment Capital of the World as enjoyable as possible with advice on how to get around and what to see..
For the professional film or music business traveler we can make your stay very efficient by offering many amenities that will appeal to the talent scout, booking agent, casting director or other talent here on business . The breakfast: Start each day at Nina’s scrumptiously nutritious breakfast bar from 7 to 10.
WHAT IS AN AMENITY? Anything extra beyond a bed in a room with a lock? We think every little extra effort a B&B makes is important and should be free, so we offer the following: first, the parking is free, so is the high speed WiFi access; our pool is always open, though not heated, and has an art deck surrounding the producing avocado tree; all rooms have cable TVs, complimentary chocolates, botanical bath products, hair dryers, alarm clocks, special bedding selected by Nina, and most have oversized showers; they are all distinctive with unique furnishings, books, etc. An ironing board and iron are available. Tea is always available in the kitchen, along with healthy snack bars, biscotti, and fruit. We offer a delightful group of tables by the pool, where you can carry your breakfast on our usually nice mornings or enjoy a relaxing evening. There is a yoga deck with mats for the enthusiasts. The parlor offers a dance floor for the adventurous, along with 2 pianos and a variety of musical instruments you are welcome to play. We also have a wide selection of board games for your pleasure. In our Info Room, devoted to getting you where you want to go, we have maps showing you how to get from here to there. Brochures for attractions, tour bus services and books about Hollywood and Los Angeles are here too. This room also has a massage chair for your relaxation. A Mac iBook is there to search for details or to check your email. Both Nina and William are artists who have enjoyed creating this one-of-a-kind bed & breakfast utilizing found art, auction buys, yard sales or antique shops and flea markets, along with their own hard work: creating, building and decorating as they go.
SPECIAL! If your preferred room is booked, you can make a special request asking for that room. Sometimes we are able to move a previous guest to a different room, making your choice available to you.
  • A minimum 2 night stay is required for all bookings.
  • Check in time is 3pm; check out is 11am. You may arrive early and leave your luggage and use the pool and other amenities. We'll tell you the earliest the room will be ready.
  • To avoid disappointment, 60-90 days advance reservations are recommended, even more for summer dates.
  • Smoking is not allowed indoors, but is permitted in a special area near the car gate.
  • Daily rates include lodging, breakfast bar, free gated parking, Wi-Fi and use of all amenities.
  • Rates are for single or double occupancy. Extra beds are available for $60/nt (adults).
  • Children 10 to 18 are welcome (extra bed - $30/nt) but must be supervised at all times since we have an unsupervised pool that may require parents to sign a liability waiver.
  • Childcare is not available by the management, but local services are availalble.
  • The Special Edition room, without a bath, is available with another room at $60/night.
  • Payment is accepted by VISA, MC, Discover, American Express, or cash.
  • Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets. Local pet hotels are available nearby.
  • Please advise us of any special needs you may have, we will do our best to accommodate.

A valid credit card will confirm the reservation immediately. An email confirmation with the door code and directions to your room will be sent upon receipt of credit card info. Room keys will be in your door.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for standard reservations. There is no penalty if your cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Full payment is due the morning after your arrival.
